Ingredients

  • 2 lbs crab legs (king or snow)
  • 12 inches of water
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic (optional)
  • Lemon wedges for serving
  • Melted butter for dipping

Instructions

  • Fill a large pot with 1-2 inches of water and bring to a boil.
  • Place a steamer basket or colander inside, ensuring it does not touch the water.
  • Add crab legs, cover with a lid, and steam for 6-8 minutes (snow crab) or 8-10 minutes (king crab).
  • Remove with tongs, serve hot with melted butter and lemon wedges.
